Cyber Law is:
ยง   A new and even growing phenomenon that includes the wide variety of political, societal and legal issues related to the Internet.
ยง   All the legal and regulatory aspects of Internet and World Wide Web.
ยง   Anything concerned with or related to any legal aspects concerning any activities of citizens with cyberspace comes withing the domain of cyber law.
ยง   The law of Internet including computers, computer networks, data and software.
ยง   The Scopes that are covered by Cyber Law are:
1.      Intellectual Property Law
2.      Computer Crime Law
3.      Jurisdiction Law
4.      Digital Signature System
5.      Privacy
6.      Freedom of Expression

International Cyber Law is: 
ยง  The Cyber Law, that enforces the discipline of usage of computer, world-wide is called the International Cyber Law.
ยง  The First International Cyber Law was drafted in USA.
ยง  To overcome obstacles faced by software developers and users, the following laws were implemented:
      a)      Fair Credit Reporting Act, 1970
ยง   Free access of personal credit report.
ยง   Ensures that each individual can view their credit information in free of cost basis.
      b)      Freedom of Information Act
ยง   Access of information posted by Government.
ยง   Each individual has the right to view each information provided by state.
      c)      Federal Privacy Act, 1974
ยง   A state can view any records if it is needed.
ยง   Access right of Government to see any record.
      d)      Video Privacy Act, 1988
ยง   The individual records can't be viewed by any other without the prior permission of the court.
ยง   Prohibition of personal record without judiciary order.
      e)      Copyright Act, 1992
ยง   Unauthorized copy of software.
ยง   Ensures that unauthorized copies of data if found the person can be subjected to 5 years of imprisonment of penalty of US$ 25,000.00 or both.

f)        Computer Matching & Privacy Protection Act, 1988
ยง   Right of Government to keep the personal key record.
ยง   Gives the Government the right to access the personal computer to match the software keys to determine piracy.
