§   The software that is illegally copied and sold in the market is software piracy.

Intellectual Property Law

§   Denotes the specific legal rights of authors, investors and other intellectual property holders to claim that the content or concept was originally created or owned by them.

Copyright

Copyright (can also be called author's right) is a legal term used to describe the rights that creators have over their literary and artistic works. This covers various range from books, music, paintings, sculpture, and films, to computer programs, software, application,  databases, advertisements, maps, and technical drawings.

Patent Right

§   Lets the inventor to give the other users the right to use his/her invention/creation for certain period of time.

Trademark

§   A distinctive sign that distinguishes the products and software of one business from that of another.

Industrial Design Right

§   Protects the appearance of one business from that of another (Spare parts, textures etc.)

A Trade Secret

§   Is confidential information related to the work procedure of the organization.

Computer Crime Law

§   Protection measure such as hardware identification, access control software and disconnecting critical applications should be devised.

Jurisdiction Law

The authority given by law to a court to try cases and rule on legal matters within a particular geographic area and/or over certain types of legal cases. It is vital to determine before a lawsuit is filed which court has jurisdiction. State courts have jurisdiction over matters within that state, and different levels of courts have jurisdiction over lawsuits involving different amounts of money.

Digital Signature System

§   Should define rules and regulations about how to create and distribute digital signatures.

Privacy

§   Right of individual to own any information.

§   Not share with anybody else.

§   Until violate any other laws of the state, free to enjoy the right of his privacy.

§   It protects privacy right of the computer user.

§   Secrecy remains as the key of business success.

Freedom of expression

§   A fundamental human right ensured by Cyber Law.

§   Until provided to be plagiarism and violates law of the state, everybody should be free to express his ideas and views regarding any subject.
